If you have HIV or AIDS, or know someone who does, you understand how scary and uncertain living with this disease can be. That’s why FAMILY has services to assist both people who have AIDS and those close to them. Family’s HIV/AIDS Support Services offers group and individual counseling for those who have AIDS and for friends and family members who are caregivers.
FAMILY'S Street Outreach and Adult Case Management bi-lingual staff educates people in communities throughout Ulster County about preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS. Treatment and testing options, abstinence information, condom distribution and bleach kits are all part of FAMILY’s prevention outreach. FAMILY'S help is free-of-charge and confidential.
If you are interested in receiving training for yourself or your community group or workplace about issues related to HIV/AIDS, call our Street Outreach Program at (845) 331-7080.
