You Want to Help, But How . . .

If you are looking for ways to help Family, give some thought to the following ideas. Most take only a few minutes or a few dollars. For that small investment, you just might make a difference in someone’s life! You can check out our current Program Wish Lists for ideas of things we can use right now!

  • Become a Hotline Volunteer! CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS UNIQUE AND REWARDING OPPORTUNITY.

  • Offer internships to the young people whom Family serves, or invite a young person into your organization for a day.

  • Highlight Family’s work through your communication and advertising efforts (include a link to Family’s website from yours!).

  • Buy tickets to movies, artistic, or cultural events that Family canstaff photos use to provide entertainment outings for those we serve.

  • Organize a Food Drive for our Food Pantries.

  • When upgrading to new computer or telephone systems, consider donating your existing systems to Family.

  • Convene a “brown bag lunch” for your staff, at which a FAMILY staff person could present some inspiring stories about ways they might support FAMILY.

  • Help a homeless family by contributing to the Lorraine Kohn/Michael P. Wood Memorial Fund or support our programs for youth through the Joan Mayer Fund. Provide emergency financial help for small, but critical items through the John Herald Fund.

  • If you order office supplies or office furniture in bulk, check with Family and perhaps we can take advantage of the reduced costs of bulk ordering.

Ready to put one or more of these into action? Just tell us how you'd like to help on this form and give us your contact information. Click the "Submit" button. We'll contact you about next steps.
